Launch event hosted by the School of Planning and Geography's Innovation and Engagement Unit and the Sustainable Places Research Institute. You are warmly invited to an event exploring the linkages between social science research and the evolving food security problems facing the world at a critical juncture in the debates associated with not only food quality, but also its provenance, vulnerability and the inherent unsustainability of current systems of production and consumption. Come along to find our more and meet the authors of a book on this subject: Sustainable food Systems: building a new paradigm. A new book edited by Professor Terry Marsden and Dr Adrian Morley. There will also be Q&A session with our panel members which will be chaired by Prof. Kevin Morgan, School of Planning and Geography. Panel Members: Prof. Terry Marsden, Sustainable Places Research Institute, Dr Adrian Morley, Harper Adams University and Rhian Nowell-Phillips, Farmers Union of Wales The Q&A session will be followed by a buffet and networking session.
