Description

Based on a true classical piece by Rimsky-Korsakov, Nikolai Andreyevich (1844-1908) called The Flight of the Bumblebee from the opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan which is based on a poem by Aleksandr Puskin (who died at age of 37) that features a magical squirrel. What's not to like? The son of the youngest sister (she's thrown into the sea by the other sisters) eventually turns into a bumblebee and stings his own grandma. On the nose. Bumblebees, eh? This rendition is the very first rehearsal of the song by the newly renewed Gloria 2.0 project featuring Simon Cross on drums, Ted Kalaw on bass and Kostadin Ilov behind the camera.
