Papua New Guinea Defence Force (PNGDF) soldiers have rediscovered three border monuments in Western Province during their 2015 border security operations. These monuments mark the land border between Papua New Guinea and Papua Province of Indonesia. Commanding officer for the First Battalion Pacific Islands Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Edison Napyo, said Papua New Guinea has 28 border monuments and the companies deployed for operations in 2015 has rediscovered three new monuments. “Three border monuments were rediscovered by Delta and Charlie Companies in Western Province and I congratulate both companies for a job well done,” Naypo said. visit us at http://www.emtv.com.pg/ for the latest news...
