Description

Generation of complex behaviors by the brain requires the orchestrated activity of distinct neuronal populations. In this video, Javier Stern and Sook Jin Son describe their recent findings showing that dendritic release of neuropeptides mediate communication between neuroendocrine and autonomic brain circuits, playing in turn a critical role in the generation of complex and multimodal homeostatic responses by the brain.
