France: Sarkozy calls for 'burkini' ban in first presidential campaign rally

Former president of France Nicolas Sarkozy demanded a ban on the full-bodied swimsuit, nicknamed a 'burkini,' which he called a provocation to the French, as he held the first meeting for his presidential campaign, in Chateaurenard, Thursday. Sarkozy made several references to the recent terror attacks in France. He said that "War is war. We need to combat and crush our enemies, put them out of battle. Fear has to change sides."
