Description
Is it just another flash flood or is it a man made disaster? TIMES NOW on Wednesday (June 19) accessed the papers which prove that there was pressure put by Congress government of Uttarakhand on the Centre following which they put the decision on declaring on declaring eco-zone proposal on hold. In a debate moderated by TIMES NOW's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami, panelists -- Meenakshi Lekhi, National Spokesperson, BJP; Krishna Byre Gowda, Spokesperson, Congress; Anees Ahmed, Leader, Congress; Atul Kumar Anjan, National Secretary, Communist Party of India; Shazia Ilmi, Member, Aam Admi Party; Sunita Narain, Director, Centre for Science and Environment; Medha Patkar, Social Activist and Vinod Duggal, Member, NDMA -- discuss whether, destruction greater is because political parties gave in to the mining, construction and timber mafia.
