In 2009, Leigh put together an album under the name of 'MinusBlue'. The sound is best described as a collection of Leighs' influences. Heavily house influenced, but definitely not house at the same time, Leigh made the heart of every track a song. His album - 'Clear Blue Eyes' went on to feature highly in many downtempo charts, and made a big splash on YouTube, with hundreds thousand plays to date. Tracks from the album went on to feature in over 200 downtempo compilations from around the world, and are still finding new fans. After a break of 3 years, Leigh has returned with a new MinusBlue album, along with a slightly modified sound, and a new set of talented co-writers and singers. Unlike the first album, the second, 'Living Life in Phases' was produced from the ground up to be a live project. The album features the vocal talents of singer songwriters such as Justin Lewis, who was signed to the Beastie Boys label, "Grand Royal", Emma Saville, Tom Sanderson, and Alex Michailidis Keithen Carter, who has worked in the studio on a daily basis co-writing with an array of legendary acts, the likes of Evelyn Champagne King, Stanley Clarke, Shaun Christopher, Linda Clifford, Philip Bailey, Chaka Khan and Thelma Houston. Keithen also went on to win a Grammy Award for Best Song collaborating with Philip Bailey of Earth Wind and Fire. This album is a high quality, spacious and lush sounding 80's / 90's influenced artist album and also comes with 2 bonus tracks of Minus Blue amazing cover version of the Beloved's, Sweet Harmony, and Klangstein's remix of Be As One.
