This fine example of Ford's glamour queen for 1954 was the recipient of a frame-off restoration in 2004 and became cover feature in the April 2006 edition of Collectible Automobile. Painted in it's correct red hue, this car features all of the ornate details that the "top of the line" Crestline had to offer. Factory options include spotlight side mirrors, back up lights and a Coronado continental kit. A black convertible top with red piping is covered by an interior matching white boot while cruising with the top down. Powering this Crestline Sunliner is the new for 1954 OHV, 239cid, V8 Y-Block engine rated at 130 horsepower through a Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. Also introduced in '54 was the ball joint suspension that was proven on previous Lincoln models for improved handling. Optional power steering and brakes add to the luxuriousness of this car! Completing the classic look of this Ford are the Firestone wide white wall tires. Covered in it's correct red and white vinyl, the interior of this Crestline does not disappoint!
