Thoughts and Prayers go out to Josh Burton and his family after suffering injuries from his violent flip during the late stages of the Spring Car B-Main. Josh's rough night began with a gentle tip-over in his heat race after contact with Brady Short. Repairs were made and Josh tagged the tail of the B-Main (11th) and went on a tear through the field. While battling for 2nd with the 24p of Rod Henning and the 7 of Jon Sciscoe, Josh's car apparently broke the right front wheel completely off while setting the car for Turn 1, causing the car to dig in and send him on this wicked flip over the banking. Collecting Henning who also flips pretty hard. Henning would be shaken and slow to get out, but is otherwise relatively okay. Josh would eventually be cut out of the car still strapped in his seat and transported like that to the hospital. At this time I do not have any information on his condition and hope you will keep him and his family in your thoughts as Josh recovers. Both of Josh's flips were just a part of a very rough night for many participants from the racing program. Which also saw three modifieds flip and two hornets as well. Adding in all the various other mechanical issues for others or even their trouble getting a hold of the track. -I will slowly update my page with more info and other exciting racing video I have.
