[Diablo 3] The Paragon Problem

Description

Feel free to discuss in the comments, or on the diablofans post, and tell us why or why not do you want to be a moving Experience Shrine in the next season/era. There is a lot of things I didn't even mention, because I did not want to draw this video out too long, but this system screws over solo players even more than the current one. There will be hundreds, or THOUSANDS of paragon discrepancy between players who chose to play solo versus people who farm XP in 4man setups. We all understand that Diablo is not the most competitive game in existence, but ever since leaderboards were introduced competition is a big part of seasons/eras. Judging by the numbers on the highest Greater Rift videos in every season, a lot of people do care about those high clears. Currently those clears are HUGELY influenced by your paragon level, and that's going to be even more apparent in the next patch if it goes through in its current form. Xabster's thread on reddit about the linear paragon requirement scaling after p750: https://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo/comments/3dx8pu/heres_a_chart_that_shows_a_big_issue_with_paragon/ Bagstone's thread on diablofans with detailed XP graphs: http://www.diablofans.com/forums/diablo-iii-general-forums/diablo-iii-general-discussion/130338-paragon-10000 Vajet's interview after reaching paragon 2000 (nonseason + season combined): (Notice how even though he has the most power from paragon points in the world, he heavily speaks out against the current system of "farming-xp-gives-you-the-most-power" which will not change in the next patch, he is in favor of a cap which he said multiple times on my stream) http://www.diablo3ladder.com/news-general-f29/road-paragon-2000-equivalent-and-interview-with-vajet-t1146.html Livestream: http://www.twitch.tv/empyriangaming Clan: http://zeroempathy.net
