State Capitals Song by http://www.guruparents.com This song is intended to help children memorize the state capitals of the 50 states of America. The capitals of the United States are expected to be learned by all American school children. We have deliberately tried to cycle through the states in a fairly obvious geographical order -- with a few small jumps to enable the lyrics to have a nice rhyme and rhythm. We have set the lyrics to what we hope is catchy but unobtrusive music to aid in the memorization process. Even for children and adults who don't live in the USA, an awareness of the 50 capital cities and states is an advantage.
