Senate Democrat Leader Tim Lanane (D-Anderson) explains the duties of the Legislative Council during the interim of the 2013 session as well as what was accomplished in their first meeting of the summer. Sen. Lanane goes on to discuss some of the topics that will receive further study by legislative committees, including the recent issues with ISTEP testing in schools around the state and the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.
