Description

Hi! It's been almost a year since I've uploaded a singing video, because music nowadays doesn't inspire me to sing the way it used to. so i was driving one day and started randomly singing these throwbacks (Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" - 1971 and Black Eyed Pea's "Where is the Love" - 2003) that i realized are just as relevant today as they were back then. I felt inspired to cover these publicly just to share a simple message: there will always be ugly, horrible, inhumane events in the world. you may not think that you are powerful enough to make a difference to make this world a nicer place, but no love in any form can ever be too insignificant or too small to give, and every act of kindness makes a positive difference. and simply put, there's too much hate everywhere these days...not just through those hugely controversial events we see in the news, but even within homes, families, schools, circles of friends, workplaces, YOUTUBE (lol) etc. And the only way to remedy this is to first create oodles and oodles of love within yourself, and then to give it away to others. At the end of the day, i don't believe that there's anything more important than giving and receiving love. Hope you guys enjoy! huge thanks to all the people who helped make this video come together. :) Video Recording/Editing: Gerald Nonato http://www.youtube.com/user/geraldnonato Audio Editing: David Kim http://www.youtube.com/user/dkdude123 Production Assistant: Allen Chen Friend who let me borrow his guitar: Kean Hsu Father who gave me musical genes: Mark Yang
