Part 2 of 2. One of the most eagerly anticipated re-matches in history also turns into one of the most controversial. Hulk is ultimately screwed out of the WWF title by referee Earl Hebner, who had "mysteriously" taken his twin-brother Dave's place. Hebner counts down Hulk's shoulders for the 3-count, when Hulk obviously raised his shoulder after the 2. Hebner awards the title to Andre in one of the shortest title runs in history. Andre, who had been bought by Dibiase, quickly surrenders the title to him. These circumstances are what force WWF President Jack Tunney to vacate the title and hold the tournament at WrestleMania 4 to determine the undisputed champion. This match is also unique for 2 other reasons. This match features the only brief clips of the WWF Tag Team Championship match between champions Strike Force (Santana/Martel) and challengers, The Hart Foundation. This match also features 2 different championship belts. Hogan had recorded his promo with Mean Gene Okerlund wearing the 1985-1988 large globed title belt, and came to the ring with the then brand-new Winged Eagle championship belt.
