Description

ShockWave at Six Flags Magic Mountain Operated from 1986-1988. It was then moved to Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey and Operated from 1990-1992. It then made its final home in 1993 at the now defunct Six Flags Astroworld in Houston Texas under the name Batman: The Escape. Shockwave is currently sitting in storage at Darien Lake Amusement park in New York. Shockwave was part of ride rotation program. Six flags rotated attractions every two years to save money was well as bring new rides more frequently. There was NO fatally on Shockwave. There was on a roller coaster called "Rail Blazer" which ran a stand-up train in 1984 at Six Flags St. Louis that had a fatality. This video footage is taken from the Documentary "Roller Coaster Thrills" produced bt Eastman Kodak in 1988 and All rights are reserved for this video. You can still purchase this video from ebay and may be in your local library. Shockwave was located where Psyclone was and now sits Apocalypse.
