Description

Catherine Huybrechts Burton produced a "flythrough" of Crater Lake and the Fremont-Winema National Forest in 2004 while working as a student intern at NASA Ames Research Center. The base map seen in the video was built by Ms. Burton using supervised image processing methods in ERDAS Imagine 8.7; in situ field work was conducted to verify the accuracy of the map. The pixel resolution quality of the video is poor due to YouTube's compression. Ms. Burton is currently the Owner/Manager of San Francisco-based Endpoint Environmental LLC. http://www.endpointenvironmental.com
