Hot on the heels of their newly released single “Why God Made Summertime,” country rock powerhouse Blackjack Billy has joined the 2015 Castroville Artichoke Food and Wine Festival concert series lineup. The high-energy, high-octane foursome joins an impressive roster of live musical talent slated to perform May 30-31, including Dallas Smith, High Valley, Louie and The Lovers, Rio Salinas, the Texas Tornados, and Banda S7. Now in its 56th year, the annual food and wine event celebrates California’s state vegetable and brings together people from across California and the country to the Monterey County Fairgrounds to enjoy family fun, live music and delicious artichoke dishes. Concert tickets are sold separately from Festival general admission and are $25 for Saturday, May 30; $15 for Sunday, May 31. General admission to the Festival is $10 for adults; $5 for active military, seniors and children (4-12); children 3 and under are FREE.
