Community activist Michael Redhead Champagne explodes stereotypes and challenges those who seek solidarity between indigenous and non-indigenous Canadians to not just talk, but act. Part of the Centre for Christian Studies' "Second Fridays" series of noon hour discussions held on the second Friday of each month, in partnership with the Sandy Saulteaux Spiritual Centre. Recorded at Woodsworth House (CCS offices) on Friday, November 14, 2014. Michael is the founder of Aboriginal Youth Opportunities ( www.ayomovement.com ) and the organizer of "Meet Me at the Bell Tower" in the North End of Winnipeg. He was speaking on the theme of "Allies and Solidarity" along with Mary Lysecki.
