This biographical video on the life of Sekou Mgobozi Abdullah Odinga, formerly known as Nathaniel Jerome Burns, examines his life as a community activist, a member of the the Black Panther Party and the Black Liberation Army. The interview with Odinga was recorded on September 19, 2010 at the Shawangunk Correctional Facility in Wakill, New York. He was paroled on November 25, 2014 after serving 33 years in prison. Odinga lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife and lectures around the country on the subject of political prisoners. The video was produced, directed and edited by Melvin McCray and is a production of Media Genesis Solutions LLC.
