Description
Het tweede deel van de succesvolle Star Trek reboot van regisseur J.J. Abrams. De filmmaker liet de echte Star Trek-fans de ietwat teleurstellende serie Star Trek: Enterprise (2001) vergeten en trok tegelijkertijd een hele nieuwe schare fans aan voor het sci-fi universum van bedenker Gene Roddenberry. In dit vervolg wordt de bemanning van de Enterprise van hun missie teruggeroepen naar aarde, waar ze een chaotische en half vernietigde wereld aantreffen. De dader lijkt een vleesgeworden massavernietigingswapen te zijn, die nota bene vanuit Starfleet zelf lijkt te komen. De jacht op deze slechterik leidt kapitein Kirk (Chris Pine) en zijn crew regelrecht naar een gevaarlijke oorlogszone. Star Trek: Into Darkness draait vanaf donderdag 6 juni 2013 in de Nederlandse bioscopen.
