Description
A big thank you to Evan Tiang from Fluttersound (http://fluttersound.com/) for filming & editing the talk. ........ Knowing that crunching numbers wasn't his thing, Aaron Koh landed himself in RMIT University doing a Bachelor in Communication Design and graduated with Distinction in 2008. He then entered the world of advertising as an Assistant Art Director and began his journey of crunching concepts. He's since worked on Uniqlo, Google, Changi Airport Group, Philips, ANZ Bank, 3M, Dulux, Bel Cheese, Sprite and Lux. He has helped create work that has made DDB the most awarded Singapore agency two years in a row. Within 4 years, Aaron's work has been awarded at major shows such as Cannes Lions, Clio, D&AD, LIA, Spikes Asia, AdFest and Effies. Not one to take the easy road, Aaron recently explored the world of parallel entrepreneurship, co-founding not one but two companies at once: a creative agency named GOVT, and another upcycled furniture company called ARTSYFACT. In this CreativeMornings Session he will be sharing with us some of his installation works, which exemplifies the month's theme "Reuse". Find out more about their work below: ARTSYFACT: http://www.facebook.com/artsyfact Aaron's Past Projects: http://cargocollective.com/aaronkoh PROJECT PASSION 365 feature: http://projectpassion365.com/4542332 ........ The event was generously hosted by Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (http://www.nafa.edu.sg/) in Singapore. ........ CreativeMornings is a monthly breakfast lecture series for creative types. Each event is free of charge, and includes a 20 minute talk, plus coffee! You can join us in numerous cities around the world. (http://creativemornings.com) ........
