Description

This track comes from Chess Studios in Chicago and dates from a 1964 session. Also the harmonica sounds like Mick Jagger to me. It is Keith Richards and Brian Jones playing in a close blues style. The Richards part is more prominent. Brian would've played through the vocals some. Very good cover of an Big Bill Broonzy tune (a prolific American blues singer). Lyrics: I got the key to the highway Feel like I’m bound to go But I’ll come running 'cause Walking is much too slow I’m going back to the bottom (border) Where I’m, I’m better known ’Cause when I leave this town, yeah I won’t be back no more Oh give me one more kiss, mama Just before I go Because when I leave this town I won’t be back no more When the moon peeps over the mountains Honey, I’ll be on my way I’m gonna roam this highway Until the break of day So give me one more kiss, mama I must say goodbye I’m gonna roam this highway Until the day I die
