Description

http://canecorsopuppies.org Visit our website to see more pictures of our Cane Corsos & their Puppies. Cane Corsos are very intelligent, powerful, agile, and dominant dogs. They are excellent family dogs, majestic, muscular, and agile, yet gentle and obedient, and are well-suited for living in a house, or even an apartment if they get regular exercise. They can go from playing rough in the back yard to walking calmly in the back door and tip toeing around the children in the house. Cane Corsos (pronounced KAH-NAY Korso) are easily trained, but require a dominant pack leader. They should receive obedience training and be socialized with other dogs and people as a puppy. Cane Corsos have a long history of being protectors and hunters. Their ancestors of the Roman Molosser, which the Romans used as military dogs. Cane Corsos evolved as a smaller, more athletic and agile dog with all of the courage of the Molosser. Basic Breed Facts The life expectancy for the Cane Corso is 10 to 11 years. Males can weigh 100-140 pounds; Height 24-28 inches. Females can weigh 88-110 pounds; Height 23-26 inches. It's amazing to watch them work; one of my favorite times to watch them is when we're camping. You can almost see the imaginary line of the perimeter they set around our camp site. If anyone gets near the line, they give them a warning bark. If the person moves closer, they bark again and walk toward the person until the person stops and/or changes direction, which usually doesn't take long. Thanks for watching our video.
