THE SALON at ULTA was backstage in May with 20 of its top hairstylists to create the hair looks for The Walk - the School of the Art Institute of Chicago's (SAIC) annual fashion benefit. The event showcases designs created by 94 students of SAIC on more than 50 models. Alongside ULTA's stylists was the team from Maybelline New York, led by Gabriel Almodovar, Lead Makeup Artist for Maybelline New York. Gabriel and his team of Maybelline New York makeup artists created dramatic makeup with a graphic flair. The show culminated with its Legend of Fashion award, presented to Rodarte founders Kate and Laura Mulleavy. ULTA technical trainers George and Sarah were thrilled to style the sisters' hair the day of the show. Special thanks to SAIC and Stay Afloat Productions.
