Marriage of Superman 1978 theme and Man of Steel 2013 theme. Produced on an iPod Touch. In celebration of the arrival of the Man of Steel after aeons of anticipation, I made this mashup of two wonderful Superman themes. It just sprang up as an idea a few days ago, and I had always wanted to try an orchestral piece in Music Studio. Since Christopher Reeve is not around to usher in a new era of Superman and pass the torch to Henry Cavill, I decided to do it for them through song. It's safe to say I re-created the John Williams theme entirely from memory. But the Hans Zimmer theme I had to constantly listen to on Youtube. I took lots of liberty's with the themes, when I couldn't help myself.
