Description

The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect for a shooting in Elmwood. On May 11, 2013, at 1:55am, two males were involved in a dispute with the management and bouncers of the Purple Orchard Gentleman's Club located at 3275 South 61st Street. When the suspects were removed from the club, suspect #1 returned minutes later armed with an AK-47 rifle and fired numerous shots into a vehicle parked in the lot. The suspect then entered the club and fired several more shots inside. The suspect then fled the club entering a light colored sedan possibly a Hyundai or Mitsubishi driven by suspect #2. One person was struck by gunfire but is not life threatening. Suspect Description: Suspect #1: Henry Pettigrew, black male, 21 years-of-age, 5'11″, 180lbs with a thin beard. Pettigrew has a last known address of 5538 Belmar Terrace. Suspect #2: Black male, 20-25 years-of-age, 5'9″-5'10″, medium build, goatee, wearing a dark hooded jacket over a plaid button shirt, tan cargo shorts and tan boots. Vehicle Description: Light colored sedan possibly a Hyundai or Mitsubishi. If you see these suspects do not approach them, contact 911 immediately.
