Description

A loaded BNSF coal train heads east through the Hazel Street railroad crossing in Agency, Iowa on May 20, 2013. The train is led by a shiny locomotive from BNSF's newest batch of SD70ACes and an ex-Burlington Northern Executive MAC. Right before the crossing, the coal train passes over a mud pump. This is a track defect where each passing car and locomotive pushes the track down which pumps water and mud to the surface. A BNSF hi-rail truck is seen pulling away at the beginning of the video. The worker using it has just spray painted "MAIN 1" and "MAIN 2" onto the sides of the rails. This can be seen in the close-up shots of the track.
