Description

In mid 2012 Sony let me try out a test unit FS700 for 48 hours and I decided to shoot a short film to test it out. Since I only had the camera for a short time I shot the additional footage (the opening radio segment and all the outdoor footage) on a separate day with my Sony NEX-7. Since we were shooting a lot of slow-mo we ended up lighting most of it with tungsten lights to avoid strobing from the fluorescent lamps but we kept blowing the bulbs so by the end of the shoot we were pretty much lighting with desk lamps and pumping up the ISO. There's still some fluorescent bulb strobing from some of the lights that we couldn't switch off, though.
