Description

This video is a review of Fenner Drives' Ninja Flex FDM 3D printing filament at 1.75mm. Tested Settings: -Printer: Makerbot Replicator 2 -Slicer: Makerbot Makerware -Temp: 250 degrees C -Speed while extruding: 30 mm/s -Speed not extruding: 50 mm/s Pros: -Many colors -Can be used for a WIDE range of applications Cons: -Price (about double the price of normal PLA and ABS filaments) -Rafts and supports can be difficult to remove -Does not print thin walls well. (No less than 1mm thickness) -Must print at reduced speeds Overall: 4 Star Rating Great filament and highly versatile. Lots of fun to play with. Price is a little steep, but lasts a long time and has more uses. The settings we use work well. You may find better ones. Thanks for watching! Hope it helps.
