Description

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is a rare breed of automotive races, held as it is through the public streets of Schenley Park, where vehicles up to and beyond 100 years old race on one July weekend per year. Yet as fantastic as those cars were, one of the most impressive (and, for those who witnessed its incessant drifting on one particular curve, grin-inducing) cars on track was the brand new 2014 BMW M4 on hand courtesy of the BMW Performance Driving School and its driver, Mike Renner. The 430-horsepower M4 was not only demonstrating its capabilities to spectators, but also to participants who, for a charitable donation, could secure one of three spots in the car during hot laps. Thanks to the generosity of the BMW Performance Center and PVGP, a number of participants got the chance to partake in the excitement, both in the wet on Saturday, and on the dry course Sunday. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the pure exhaust noise of the BMW M4 at full chat around the PVGP street circuit.
