Description

http://www.vladtv.com - On Saturday, December 6th, around 1:10 am on Sutphin Blvd. in Queens, a man approached a 30-year-old off-duty NYPD police officer and attempted to rob him at gunpoint. The robber was wearing a mask at the time of the near-fatal incident, which almost ended with him taking the officer's life. After the suspect ordered the cop not to move, the officer instead backed away behind a car, brandished his firearm, and identified himself as a policeman. The suspect then threatened to kill the cop and circled the vehicle in pursuit of him. Eventually, the suspect let off one shot at the officer before fleeing the scene. Luckily the officer, nor any innocent bystanders were struck by the bullet.
