Description
"Waxing your car" is the most common term or phrased used in the detailing industry, but what does it mean? This episode discusses the differences between synthetic or "man-made" sealants VS carnauba or "natural" wax. Each has its PRO'S and CON'S...so how do we choose which one to use? I use a technique called "layering" that gives paint the strength of a sealant, and the deep shine of a carnauba wax. Use this trick after you've washed and clayed your car, and the results will be astonishing! For a list of all the products used in this episode, visit www.ammoNYC.com and click on the links below. Thanks again for all the positive comments, I really appreciate the encouraging emails I've received from DRIVE viewers. If you have any detailing questions, feel free to email me at larry@ammonyc.com and I'd be happy to help!
