We comb the web to find and deliver the stuff that you're interested in most. We launched our website in early 2011 and have big plans to launch Frequency on all your favorite devices.
Our goal is for our video discovery engine to tune-in and deliver the absolute best videos for each individual.We want you to have a great experience while catching up with your videos, and feel like you can turn to us to find out what's going on in your world.

Blair Harrison
Blair Harrison is an entrepreneur and software designer. He has built a number of pioneering and successful companies including IFILM, FasTV and Second Nature. Blair founded Frequency in 2009 to make the process of discovering and watching video online as simple and personal as possible. Prior to Frequency Blair ran IFILM, a website for independent filmmakers which he took over operation of in 2001. Blair built IFILM into one of the ten biggest deliverers of online video. He sold it to Viacom in 2005. Blair has been involved in online video since 1998 when he founded FasTV, the first video search engine. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and son. Mike Gordon
Michael Gordon is our Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to joining Frequency, Mike co-founded Limelight Networks (NASDAQ: LLNW) in 2001, where he served as Limelight's principal financial officer through December 2006 and as Limelight's Chief Strategy Officer from January 2005 to July 2010. He remains a strategic advisor to Limelight, holds seven patents in the field of Internet digital media, is a member of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Museum of the Moving Image in New York. Shan Tang
Shan is a Software Engineer with Frequency. As a modeler, she likes to tell stories about how things fit together. She's mainly concerned about how we get the information, how we decorate it, and how we finally curate it. Prior to this, she's worked as a Software Engineer at MTV Spike, IFILM, Bank of America, Vivendi Universal, Knowledge Adventure. With her free time, she likes to listen to classical chinese music, classical european music, and jazz. Although, she hasn't done much lately, she's very much into paper cutting and modeling as well as playing her bamboo flute. -
Jerry Boonstra
Jerry is a Software Engineer hailing from Edmonton, Canada (go Oilers!). A big music fan, Jerry thinks Bowie is the greatest songwriter of all time and rare disco is extremely hard to beat-mix correctly. He has worked for Nortel, OMNIS, CNET, and AOL and has an EE degree from the University of Alberta. -
Damian Krawczyk
Damian started his adventure with computers in yearly '90 with Commodore +4 and BASIC since then computers became part of his life. Before joining Frequency Damian was working at Spilgames as web developer making gaming platforms for kids. When he's not in front of screen he's riding on motorcycle. Audrey Allen
Audrey loves working with a team to produce a quality product. She has helped develop all forms of media - from newspapers and magazines to websites. With a background in journalism and copy editing, her interests shifted to website development and online marketing. She has tested websites such as Disney Online Store, Marvel Store and WeddingChannel.com. Russ Gooberman
Head of Analytics and SEO, Russ got his start as a debate coach, comedian, and columnist. Russ was one of the creators of the Webby award winning series, BoingBoingTV. His radio podcast, The Mep Report, once won the largest podcast competition in history (beating 7,000 other shows), held by Podcast Pickle. In his spare time, he's the head instructor of the Peninsula Chess Club - a Ranchos Palos Verdes -based after school chess program. He spends the rest of his hours polishing his 1st place trophy acquired at Silver Lake's annual Burt Reynolds Dodgeball Tournament/Moustache Expo. Watch Russ' favorite videos »

Adrian Roston
Adrian's been building software since the day he disassembled all of his games on his Commodore 64; then as a professional, made software for on-ship computers for the U.S. Navy and consumer web sites like IFILM.com. Adrian took a detour from computers to spend time as a musician, playing in professional symphony orchestras and touring Europe in the pit with broadway shows. Simin Haik
Simin is our VP of Operations. She has worked in various technology companies - both startups and multinationals alike - starting her career as a software engineer with a BS degree in Computer Science from Technion. She has managed the development and launch of various social media/entertainment products for companies like Fox Audience Network/News Corp and Tandberg Television/Ericsson. At Frequency, Simin manages many of the day to day operational activities of the business, liaising with our emerging set of partners to deliver the highest quality product. Zack Bartel
Zack loves building software. He has been involved with numerous projects, including Boeing's 787 Flight Test program as well as Aircraft Health Management and GetBack.com. Raised in Portland, Oregon, he is a graduate of Oregon State University where he worked with its Open Source Lab to build the software that managed the University's network. Romano loves testing software. He has been involved with numerous projects, including Symantec/Norton, iFilm.com, Spike.com, and GetBack.com. Michael Zaidan
Responsible for on-site editorial content and social outreach, Michael worked professionally in film for 20 years — as a produced, award-winning writer and director. He was a professor at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles for 3 years and has been a guest lecturer at McGill University in Montreal. Alex McKinnon
Alex is a music industry veteran and entrepreneur. After a stint teaching Western Marketing Strategies at the University of Hanoi in 2001, Alex returned to his home town of Montreal to complete degrees in Journalism, English Literature and Creative Writing. He then started working in the music industry, wearing many hats and touring with some of the biggest acts along the way. After moving to Los Angeles in the summer of 2010, Alex pursued his passion for photography until March of 2011 when he jumped at the opportunity to join Frequency as Head of Operations. Jason Castle
Jason, as part of the Content team, spends most of his day making sure that you have a fun, engaging and challenging experience on Frequency. He has only recently graduated from San Diego State University in May 2011 with a degree in Media Studies and a minor in Educational Technology. Although young and optimistic, he prepares carefully for the day the world will kick his ass. He looks forward to spending his life playing his role in shaping the future of media and the Internet and the possibilities they hold. In his free times he enjoys doing comedy and improv with his friends, or can be often found playing his favorite video games of the moment. He has been working closely with Frequency since 2010.
